FIRST Join us at Turkey Joe’s 7 George Street 7-10pm for an early Salsa Social.
$5 cover includes:
Mini salsa lesson shortly after 7pm then social dancing until 10pm.
We’ll play all your Latin favorites…salsa, merengue, bachatta, reggaeton and more!
Join us SATURDAY to practice all your dance moves in a friendly relaxed atmosphere 🙂

THEN head on over to 32 George Street for a HOT NEW “LATIN CLUB” NITE featuring DJmambo.
DJmambo will put you into a spin with his out of this world Latin mix, starting the evening with salsa, bachatta, & merengue, then adding lots of late night reggaeton, International and Latin electro/club/hiphop…don’t miss it!
DJmambo (Kalet) hails from Cuba, and has been a key player in Halifax’s salsa scene over the past several years. He’s in St. John’s this weekend and while he’s here wants to throw us a Latin Party! Let’s show him how we love to party 🙂

THREE places to salsa this Saturday:

ONE: Salsa (Technicalities and Shines) and Cha Cha (Basics) Workshop
Sat. Oct. 12 6pm-8pm, 4th Floor Rehearsal Room, Arts and Culture Centre
–> 6-7 pm Session 1 – Salsa Technicalities and Shines
This session is for Both the Beginner 1 and 2 class. Anyone with a good knowledge of the basic steps and beginner turn patterns are welcome to attend.
–> 7-8pm Sessioin 2 – Cha Cha Basics
This session is for EVERYONE!!! Add another dance to your repertoire or bring a friend who wants to try out something new. No experience required, no partner required.
Cost $20 per session

Message from Bailamos St. John’s: We are going to start hosting some free practice sessions. The first session will be this Saturday  Oct 5th 6-7pm, 4th floor rehearsal room, Arts and Culture Center.

This is not a structured class, but an opportunity to get together to practice. It is an opportunity to ask questions and get some help in areas you may be having problems.
