Spanish lessons are being offered in an 8-week course in September and October.
Mondays (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.): grammar, verbs, vocabulary – for: beginners and those wishing to review

This is an intensive Spanish class for absolute beginners – no previous Spanish is required. Come learn in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Classes will run for 4 weeks from September 5th to September 26th, Monday evenings 6 to 7pm to in the downtown area. The focus of this 4 week program is to introduce new speakers to basic concepts of introductions, greetings, pronunciation, the alphabet, numbers and develop conversation and listening skills while incorporating basic grammar and vocabulary in a variety of topics.

Hablamos Español en St. John’s! is a self-running group…

Hello! Do you live in St. John’s? Do you like Latin cultures and particularly the Spanish language? Do you speak Spanish? Would you like to speak or practice your Spanish? Would you like to learn more about the language and the culture? Then, this group is for you! We are inviting anyone who have an interest in the language, Spanish fans, Hispanics and Latin people, students learning Spanish etc…for conversation and to enjoy ourselves!
We meet every Saturday at 5:30 pm at Coffee Matters, in front of the Sheraton, @ 1 Military Road.
For beginners, we will give you some recommendation and help you get up to speed with the language.
