–>Come early for a drop-in lesson with Stacy Fowler of Bailamos St. John’s
–> try out some of Cindy M Butt‘s FarOut Fitness LED hoola hoops to warm up
–> Cuban-born musician Onelvis Hierrito Fernandez will also drop by to perform some live Latin tunes.

Then stay and dance all evening with Ritmo Latino’s DJ Chambo and his energetic mix of Latin dance music…let’s say good-bye to February by dancing the night away for a great cause!

$8 at the door <> 19+ event <> box/receipts will be available for extra donations

*A portion of the door proceeds will be donated to The Avalon Dragons, a local non-profit breast cancer survivor support group.
The Avalon Dragon Boating Association consists of breast cancer survivors, their friends, families and interested individuals who share the goal of supporting dragon boating on the Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Some of the things the Avalon Dragons strive to achieve:
– To support each other, improve our physical, emotional and spiritual health, celebrate life and have fun.
– To support our friends, families and communities by showing them that there is vibrant active life despite a diagnosis of cancer.
– To raise awareness about the role of exercise and a healthy lifestyle in preventing breast cancer and its recurrence.

The Avalon Dragons are also currently working towards finally having their own boathouse…more info on this, their many other projects, and how people can get involved will be available at the Salsa Party!
